Aaron Sorkin + David Fincher + Trent Reznor + Atticus Ross
“I’ve always loved David’s work but quite honestly I wondered what would draw him to tell that story. When I actually read the script and realized what he was up to, I said goodbye to that free time I had planned. Atticus Ross and I have been on a creative roll so I asked him if he wanted to work on this with me and we signed on.”

ok. I’m excited now.
I’m just confused. I love Reznor’s contributions to Se7en with remixes, but I just don’t know what to think about this whole Facebook movie thing.
Will “March of the Pigs” play during the Farmville scene?
ok, nine inch nails = over. se7en = remix played during the title, not scored by reznor. Lost Highway = soundtrack curated by Reznor, he contributed 2 pieces (1 very short) to the score (the score was primarily handled by Angelo Badalamenti). lastly: The Perfect Drug = inspired by Lost Highway, but not used in the soundtrack.
So really, I’d follow David Fincher pretty much anywhere, despite the movie sounding completely not-my-thing from any other angle. Trent Reznor’s work for a Lynch movie (in addition to the Quake soundtrack) makes me pretty excited to see him do a whole film. Especially after Ghosts I-IV, which is a soundtrack for a movie that plays in my head.
I think you missed my joke?
I’m a huge Trent Reznor fan- halos, imports, rarities, concerts, soundtracks, art, production, mentoring- all of it. I’m just weirded out that Fincher’s doing a movie about online social networking. There is nothing that either Reznor or Fincher has done (that’s available) that I have or ever would miss. Still,
Pigs+Farmville=lulz
